Every generation thinks they were the first to open up the topic of sexuality into mainstream media. As gay subtexts are often found in Village People songs, some have suggested that themes in this album refer to safer sex due to the emergence of AIDS within the gay community during the 1980s.

The photographer’s images offer us a glimpse into the world of these wonderfully unique people. Yes, they are women and men who talk dirty for a living (well, at least some of them make a living out of it), but that doesn’t mean they are not caring, emotional human beings. In fact, there is something humane about trying to recreate the fantasies of someone whom they probably never met in their life, and probably never, never will. I mean, who does this?

The fact that we ask these questions about them instead of us, their callers, may not be the fairest thing in the world, but the truth is that those who have the power to fulfill fantasies are always more interesting. We are drawn to these people at every level and phase of our lives. It is a power of a kind, one that most of us want to exploit in one way or another. Yes, we are not interested in the callers, we are them. Me, you, your neighbor, most certainly your boss! If you think about it, we all do this… We may not all call the professionals to pay for a service to achieve it, but we do wish to share our most intimate fantasies with others, especially those whom we’d like to fulfill them with.

If these pictures did one thing, it was showing us how these people are remarkably similar to us. They probably have the same dreams and desires in life, they just chose a different approach to how they plan to achieve them. There is no right or wrong here, just a very accurate and raw visual representation of the human beings behind those phones… Seeing them in this way makes us all realize that we are not that different, regardless of the choices we’ve made in comparison with them. They may represent the opposite side of it, but they are the same coin nonetheless.

In a bizarre turn of events, a Florida lawyer has been disbarred as a result of a number of misconduct accusations, including repeat drug use and having phone sex with inmates.

The Florida Bar announced in a statement Friday that Linda Dawn Hadad, a 43-year old lawyer from Daytona Beach, FL has been disbarred after engaging in a series of illegal acts while in the execution of her duties as a public defender.

The Florida Bar announced Friday that Daytona Beach public defender Linda Dawn Hadad had been disbarred.

According to the NY Daily News, the attorney, who had been practicing in the state of Florida for more than a decade now, is said to have fallen apart as a result of abuse of various illegal drugs. She has previously used Xanax, cocaine and crack, all without the express permission of a licensed practitioner. In addition to that, police documents indicate that Hadad has had a less than admirable rap sheet over the last 6 years, having been arrested no less than five times within that period for infractions ranging from driving while intoxicated to driving with a suspended license. Most of the time, Hadad had gotten off the hook rather easily, which might have encouraged overindulgence.

It has been confirmed that Hadad showcased a number of questionable habits. In one instance, she moved her practice to a new location without giving notice to her clients, who had a difficult time tracking her down. She also failed to attend to client cases for at least 5 documented instances. Her habit of drug misuse is said to have eaten into her normal schedules so much that she was no longer in control of what she did and where she was supposed to be, hence the inconsistencies in executing her duties.

Over the course of her engagement as a public defendant, Linda Hadad also had sex with at least two inmates at the Volusia County Jail. This happened so frequently and for such a long time that the warden had a hard time dealing with it and had to reduce her range of access to the facility, making sure that she could never go past the attorney-allocated perimeter. It however seems that Hadad had the perfect solution for this, instead opting for having phone sex with her clients, which was a lot safer given that she did not have to face prison authorities or even drive out to said jail.

When Kelly dropped her entire life because her friend Tim was dying and she needed to be by his bedside, Stan could not for the life of him figure out why she was not answering his calls. She got his messages hoping one of these times he would leave his number, as she didn’t have it with her. Stan was in a bad way when this happened, he thought maybe the seventeen year age difference was playing a factor in her not seemingly wanting to talk to him. When Kelly finally did get back home, she explained that it was not anything that he was or had done.

During Valentines Day 2001, Stan invited Kelly out for drinks to Dallas hotel. When it came time to leave, Stan drew her attention to a limo his friend was driving. When they got into the car, there was a teddy bear, a dozen roses and some candies. Kelly thought that this must be for someone else, thinking that Stan’s friend must have another customer en route. Stan told Kelly that it was in fact for them, and of course, seeing as how they had just officially met in July, Kelly was not expecting what followed next. Stan pulled out an engagement ring and popped the question. Kelly couldn’t believe what she was seeing, needless to say, she was totally shocked. The couple got married in August 2002 in the very same spot where Stan had first told Kelly that he loved her.
